InTraders was established in 2017 with trademark registration and subsequently launched its publications through congresses and a journal. InTraders is an example of social entrepreneurship, where researchers volunteer to serve on various boards including the organizing committee, secretariat, scientific board, advisory board, and editorial board.
The InTraders International Trade Academic Journal (2018-…) has been accepted by the TR Dizin Index for the years 2024-2025, and is also indexed by SOBİAD, EBSCOhost, ERIH PLUS, and Sherpa Romeo.
InTraders Congresses are held twice a year, in Spring and Autumn. All congresses have achieved “international congress” status, meeting academic incentive and associate professorship application criteria. Congress proceedings are included in the EBSCO and ProQuest Ebook databases.
